ZOOMLION with Brand Value at RMB 70+ Billion, Was Listed in China’s 500 Most Valuable Brands for 16 Years in A Row


Days ago, 2019 China’s 500 Most Valuable Brands was unveiled at the 16th World Brand Summit in Beijing sponsored by the World Brand Lab. For the 16th year in a row, Zoomlion was placed in the list, taking the 69th place with its brand value at RMB 70.198 billion,  an increase of RMB 11.6 billion from the previous year.

World Brand Lab is an international organ specialized in brand value studies. Recognized as one of the world’s top three brand value evaluators, it utilizes the “present earning value method” to measure the value of brands in China’s 500 Most Valuable Brands that it has publicized for 16 consecutive years. Based on the “economic use method”, the present earning value method is a combination of consumer studies, competition analysis and predicted revenues of companies in the future. The World Brand Lab has also developed the exclusive Brand Value Added Tools, BVA Tools, which considers the company’s  operations and earnings generated by the brand

Analytical Report on 2019 China’s 500 Most Valuable Brands reveals that six construction machinery manufacturers were included in the list, whose total brand value amounted to RMB 299.579 billion. Zoomlion, with its brand value at RMB 70.198 billion, took the 2nd place in the industry and the 69th place among the total 500 brands. One place higher than the previous year, Zoomlion saw its brand value rising sharply by RMB 11.6 billion, or nearly 20%, from the RMB 58.573 billion recorded in the previous year.

It was the 16th time for Zoomlion to be placed in this list since 2004,, revealing the brand’s creditability and social influence.

Zoomlion branding is underpinned by its concentration on core business, and focus on product quality and innovation-driven development. Zoomlion Chairman Mr. Zhan Chunxin once said, “Zoomlion always deems products as the essence and target. We deem it our responsibility to use products to carry on technologies and civilization”. In 2018, customers in the Alliance increased their purchase of Zoomlion products by 40% YOY. At the same time, 90% of the Alliance members recorded growth in operating scales and 74% made profit growth. At present, Zoomlion Customer Alliance has expanded from 40 organization members in the beginning to more than 90 and upward.
