"It was the 800-ton crane we exported to Argentina that set a record for the largest tonnage crane exported from China to South America. In order to meet the operation requirements of customers under multiple working conditions, we have carried out the localized upgrading of this product. The most significant upgrading is for the tower boom on the basis of the original model. With the tower boom extended to 93m, the 800-ton crane is capable of hoisting operations at greater distances and at more complex angles."
Gu Peng, regional manager of Zoomlion Heavy Industry Science and Technology Co., Ltd. in the Americas, said, "After this 800-ton crane is exported to Argentina, it will first be used in the maintenance of wind power projects, and then provide hoisting services for the construction of large-scale projects such as petrochemical, and oil and gas projects. Therefore, we provide customers with fully equipped products with the tower boom to meet various construction needs."
The 800-ton crane was purchased by ZOOMLION's old customer in Argentina, and the two sides have cooperated for nearly 10 years. The customer has purchased various kinds of ZOOMLION's products below 300 tons, and become more and more familiar with and trusted ZOOMLION products after years of use; furthermore, ZOOMLION's technology and product quality are continuously improved, winning more global influence and recognition for the brand. Therefore, the customer chose our 800-ton crane at once when the wind power maintenance project requires such product.
