Recently, the 26th ExpoCAMACOL International Construction and Building Materials Exhibition in Medellín, Colombia, concluded successfully at the Plaza Mayor Convention Center. Zoomlion presented its star products for Latin America, including earthmoving machinery, aerial work machinery, and concrete machinery, showcasing the company’s fruitful results in deeply cultivating the local market with high-end equipment highly adapted to local working conditions.
At this exhibition, the products brought by Zoomlion were all highly suited to local construction conditions, featuring lightweight, agile, and highly economical characteristics. Take the exhibited excavators as an example. The ZE215G excavator has high structural strength and abundant power, capably handling diverse scenarios such as infrastructure, municipal engineering, and mining, while balancing operating efficiency and fuel economy to help customers reduce operating costs. The ZE36GU mini excavator and ZS080V skid steer loader are specifically designed for precision operations in narrow local sites. The ZE36GU features a zero-tail-swing design for precise and flexible operation, while the ZS080V can be equipped with a variety of attachments and quickly switch between them to meet different operational needs.
On site, the exhibited equipment was highly favored by customers, with frequent reports of successful deals. In the first half of this year, Zoomlion’s forward-looking layout and deep cultivation in Latin America delivered fruitful results, with business growing by more than 80% year on year. Among them, earthmoving machinery in the Colombian market grew far faster than the industry average, and sales of crawler excavators increased by more than 500% year on year, with market competitiveness continuing to improve.
Zoomlion has established subsidiaries in Brazil, Mexico, Colombia, Panama, Peru, Chile, and other countries in Latin America.
