On October 26, at the 2026 China International Agricultural Machinery Exhibition, ZOOMLION unveiled its groundbreaking 9DX ultra-high-horsepower hybrid tractor to the global market. Ultra-high-horsepower tractors represent one of the most technologically demanding segments of the agricultural machinery industry. According to ZOOMLION, the 9DX hybrid tractor is specifically engineered for the demanding, high-intensity operations of large-scale farms. Its digital chassis, core components and control systems have all been independently developed by ZOOMLION. Compared with similar models, the tractor delivers significant improvements in traction, power response, fuel efficiency and field adaptability, meeting the demands of continuous heavy-duty operations in large-scale agricultural production.
In terms of core technologies and key performance indicators, the 9DX hybrid tractor has achieved an industry-leading level of performance. It features ultra-high-horsepower hybrid continuously variable transmission technology, delivering a peak torque of 7,200 N·m and a maximum travel speed of 40 km/h. It can also operate on slopes exceeding 12 degrees.
Powered by an 800V dual-motor coupling system, the tractor achieves a 10%–15% increase in operating efficiency. Its hydraulic system provides a flow rate of 636 L/min, supporting combined operations with ultra-wide seeders, large-scale land preparation equipment and variable-rate fertilizer applicators.
The tractor adopts a four-track drive system equipped with ZOOMLION's independently developed 762 mm-wide tracks, effectively reducing soil compaction and damage to the topsoil layer. Its cab features an independent suspension and fully suspended design, together with cab access steps featuring a 65-degree inclination, ensuring a smooth and comfortable driving experience.
