On April 13, at the Phase II construction site of the Hainan Changjiang Nuclear Power Plant, Zoomlion's 4,000-ton class crawler crane ZCC89000 slowly lifted the approximately 415-ton outer dome off the ground. After two hours of precise operation, the outer dome was successfully placed at the predetermined position above the reactor building cylinder, achieving millimeter-level high-precision positioning.

The ZCC89000 crawler crane is a flagship 4,000-ton class product developed by Zoomlion for large-scale nuclear power, petrochemical, and other heavy industries. It features excellent working capabilities under super-lift counterweight conditions and is equipped with an intelligent collaborative control system. During this lifting operation, facing challenges such as the large weight and volume of the integrally welded outer dome module and extremely high positioning accuracy requirements, the ZCC89000 crawler crane, relying on its powerful lifting capacity and precise control system, together with a number of innovative techniques adopted by the project team, successfully completed this key milestone task.

To address the difficulties of easy deviation and difficult positioning during the lifting process, the project's technical team specially developed a guiding and limiting device. During the operation, the Zoomlion ZCC89000 crawler crane worked closely with the guiding device, using precise circumferential angle fine-tuning and positioning guidance to control the lifting deviation of the steel liner within millimeters, ensuring a perfect connection between the outer shell and the steel liner.

From rehearsal to implementation, the entire lifting process used 3D modeling technology. A full-size digital model of the outer dome was built in advance to accurately simulate the lifting path and key connection points and perform collision detection. The ZCC89000 crawler crane perfectly reproduced the simulated path during actual operation, avoiding potential risks from the source and providing a solid guarantee for a successful one-time lift.
