On April 16, H.E. Daniel Francisco Chapo, President of the Republic of Mozambique, arrived in Changsha, Hunan Province, commencing a week-long state visit to China. This visit marks President Chapo's first trip to China since taking office.

On the first day of his visit, President Chapo toured the Zoomlion Smart Industrial City in Changsha. He was accompanied by Zheng Xuan, Chinese Ambassador to Mozambique; Guo Ning, Director of the Foreign Affairs Office of the Hunan Provincial People's Government; and Qian Lixia, Vice Mayor of Changsha Municipal People's Government. Chairman and CEO of Zoomlion Dr. Zhan Chunxin, Vice President Yuan Ye, and Liu Yuxin, General Manager of Zoomlion Agricultural Machinery, extended a warm welcome.

At the Earthmoving Machinery Park of Zoomlion Smart Industrial City, President Chapo visited the intelligent production line in the medium & large excavator assembly workshop, and watched demonstrations including an excavator stacking wine glasses and a skid steer loader performing a "waltz" dance. At the agricultural machinery display area, President Chapo observed a range of high-end intelligent agricultural machinery products independently developed by Zoomlion, including intelligent electric tractors, hybrid and pure electric grain combine harvesters, and rice transplanters. He gave a thumbs-up to China's intelligent equipment and smart factory.

President Chapo stated: "Here we have found solutions to the challenges facing Mozambique. Mozambique is also a country undergoing large-scale construction, including roads, bridges, buildings, and various infrastructure projects. And this place has all the solutions needed for such construction."

On the morning of April 18, the Ministry of Agriculture of Mozambique and Zoomlion also held in-depth discussions on the agricultural machinery market demand in Mozambique and Zoomlion's product solutions.
