On May 12 local time, the Nampo Agricultural Machinery Expo, the largest and most influential farming event in Africa, grandly opened at Nampo Park in Polokwane, South Africa. Zoomlion made a strong appearance, showcasing 13 units of high-end intelligent agricultural equipment, including the DV3504 hybrid tractor, high-horsepower power shift series tractors, and large-feed combine harvesters, highlighting the company’s innovations in new energy and smart agriculture.
At this year’s expo, Zoomlion focused on green and efficient farming solutions, with its centerpiece—the DV3504 hybrid tractor—becoming the center of attention. Equipped with an advanced hybrid system, the model combines powerful performance with low fuel consumption and environmental benefits, perfectly suited for large-scale, modern farming operations in South Africa. It demonstrates Zoomlion’s technological leadership in new-energy agricultural machinery. Alongside the DV3504, other models such as the PL2304 and PQ2604 high-horsepower tractors and the F6-3000 harvester were also on display, covering the entire process of tilling, planting, and harvesting. Together, they form a premium product portfolio tailored to the South African market, supporting the transition to efficient, green, and intelligent agriculture.
At the expo, Zoomlion held a dedicated launch event for the DV3504 hybrid tractor. Through a global debut video, the company showcased the model’s outstanding performance, including its MIDD distributed intelligent electric drive system, dynamic programming energy control technology, and remarkable advantages in reducing energy consumption and improving operational efficiency. The launch attracted a large crowd of visitors who stopped to watch and take photos. Many professional purchasers and farm owners proactively approached for more information and hands-on experience.
Peter, the manager of a large local farm in South Africa, said after trying the equipment: “I run a farm of over a thousand hectares and have always been looking for a high-horsepower tractor that balances power and energy efficiency.
