Zoomlion's Ultra-Large Wind Power Tower Crane Delivered Again to Thailand

On August 11, at the tower crane intelligent factory in Changde, Hunan, Zoomlion held a grand delivery ceremony for its LW2800A-200NA wind power tower crane to a Thai customer. As the second unit of the same model purchased by this customer, the crane will be used for a mountain wind power project on the west coast of the Gulf of Thailand. The cooperation between the two parties in wind power hoisting has reached a new level, empowering Thailand's green energy construction with proven strength.

 

 

Zoomlion's LW2800A-200NA wind power tower crane made its overseas debut in 2024 at the Chaiyaphum wind farm project in Thailand, where its outstanding performance laid a solid foundation for this repeat order. At the delivery ceremony, Huang Jianbing, Vice President of Zoomlion and General Manager of the Construction Hoisting Machinery Branch, handed over the "golden key" to the Thai customer representative. The customer spoke highly of Zoomlion's technology and products, and both parties expressed their intention to deepen cooperation in wind power hoisting and construction in the future.

 

The Thai customer's repeat choice further confirms the exceptional capability of Zoomlion's wind power tower cranes. The LW2800A-200NA delivered this time features superior lifting performance, excellent wind resistance, a compact footprint, and a lightweight tower structure that facilitates transportation—all highly suited to mountain wind power hoisting operations in Thailand. Its maximum lifting height is 216 meters, maximum lifting capacity under the hook is 200 tons, and it can operate at a maximum allowable wind speed of 20 m/s, making it ideal for coastal and mountain wind power installations. With an outrigger span of 18 m × 18 m and a minimum construction site requirement of 30 m × 50 m, and a minimum ground bearing capacity of 0.1 MPa, it can work on complex terrains such as farmland, mountains, and swamps. Thanks to its integrated design, the entire process of dismantling, transporting, and reassembling the crane between two wind turbine positions takes only 2.5 days.
