Recently, Zoomlion achieved a significant breakthrough in the Panamanian market with the official delivery of its first ZAT4500V853 large-tonnage all-terrain crane to a local customer. On the very night of delivery, the equipment was mobilised to a key Panama Metro project site and tasked with the critical hoisting of large steel structures.

At the delivery ceremony, Zoomlion’s service team conducted comprehensive coordination with the customer’s management, operations, and maintenance personnel, covering equipment acceptance, site-specific commissioning, and operational handover. Given Panama’s complex construction environment and high demands for continuous operation, Chinese technical experts worked alongside local service engineers to provide on-site guidance on key operations, including boom combinations, use of the superlift device, and counterweight matching, while simultaneously carrying out hands-on practical training. The entire delivery process was results-oriented and tightly scheduled, with the customer team fully engaged throughout and offering positive feedback. They expressed satisfaction with the crane’s lifting performance, the precision of its electronic control system, and its stability under heavy loads, while also highly commending Zoomlion’s one-stop service from delivery to on-site support.

On the evening of delivery, the ZAT4500V853 was transported directly to the Panama Metro construction site and entered operation overnight. Its primary task involved the precise positioning of large steel structural components, requiring multiple high-precision, heavy-lift movements within a limited working area – imposing stringent demands on the crane’s fine‑control characteristics and safety margins. During continuous operations, the Zoomlion’s crane demonstrated outstanding load-bearing capacity and control stability, effectively safeguarding the construction progress of critical milestones on that section, drawing attention from the project site management. This application once again confirmed the adaptability and reliability of Zoomlion’s cranes in complex working conditions such as rail transit and large-scale municipal projects.

Currently, Zoomlion has established a well-developed service network in Panama and the wider Central American region, with a team comprising resident Chinese engineers and local service staff, capable of providing full-cycle support covering equipment delivery, assembly and commissioning, maintenance and repairs, and operator training. Zoomlion remains committed to deepening its presence in the Central American market, driven by both high-quality products and its “MORE THAN YOU CARE” service brand, delivering response speed and professional support that exceed customer expectations, and contributing to infrastructure development in Panama and surrounding areas.
