Zoomlion Makes a Splash at AgQuip 2026 with Hybrid New Products in Australia

On August 18, local time, AgQuip, Australia’s largest agricultural outdoor exhibition with a history of over 50 years, officially opened in Gunnedah, New South Wales. As the first Chinese agricultural machinery brand to sponsor the event, Zoomlion Agriculture Machinery made a strong impression with its full range of certified equipment and new high-horsepower hybrid models. The company is accelerating its presence in the Australian market through cutting-edge intelligent manufacturing.

At the exhibition, Zoomlion globally premiered the all-new DX7004 hybrid high-horsepower tractor. As the world’s most powerful hybrid wheeled tractor, the DX7004 is equipped with the MiDD distributed intelligent electric drive system, featuring dual-motor torque reserve of over 50% and offering continuously variable speeds from 0 to 40 km/h. In terms of intelligence, the model incorporates an assisted driving system based on high-speed, high-precision vehicle-level global positioning, supporting centimeter-level navigation. Combined with Zoomlion’s one-touch implement management function, it reduces operational intensity by up to 90%. Additionally, its dynamic energy control technology adjusts fuel-saving strategies in real time according to load variations, cutting overall operating fuel consumption by 10%.

The head of Zoomlion’s agricultural machinery division in Australia commented: “Australia is a key premium agricultural machinery market worldwide. The DX7004 hybrid high-horsepower tractor is a core product we developed specifically for large-scale Australian farming operations, offering both robust power and low energy consumption. Through this exhibition, we hope to give local customers a first-hand experience of the proven strength of Chinese hybrid technology.”

The booth also showcased three other hybrid models: the DV3504, DV4104 and DQ2604. Among them, the DV3504 has already received dual nominations in the ”High Horsepower” and “Sustainability” categories of the European Tractor of the Year competition. As a flagship application of hybrid technology, its modular continuously variable transmission system reduces mechanical transmission components by approximately 70% compared with conventional models. In addition, the lineup included the PG2004 and PL1604 powershift tractors, the CN1104 and CM904 power-shuttle tractors, suitable for diverse terrains and attachments; as well as the ZE27GU 2.7-tonne mini excavator, the ZE55GU 5.5-tonne mini excavator, and the ZT090V tracked skid-steer loader, which are adaptable to municipal engineering, road construction, trenching, and other applications.

Looking ahead, Zoomlion will continue to align with Australian agricultural production needs, empowering local farming with new-energy and intelligent machinery solutions.
