From October 17 to 18, the third "The Belt and Road" International Cooperation Summit Forum was held in Beijing. As a representative equipment manufacturing enterprise participating in the co-construction of “The Belt and Road,” ZOOMLION was invited to attend the plenary of “The Belt and Road” International Think Tank Cooperation Committee. As introduced, ZOOMLION not only achieves win-win situations with its acquired local enterprises overseas but also promotes mutual development with "The Belt and Road" initiative nations through nurturing local talent and establishing new factories. Currently, ZOOMLION boasts a team of over 3,000 foreign employees. Taking Indonesia as an example, 90% of ZOOMLION's workforce in the country is local, creating over 300 job opportunities. This not only enhances the professional skills of the employees and increases their income but also elevates their sense of achievement and happiness. These employees, familiar with local cultures and markets, minimize cultural clashes, bridge the gap with customers, and consequently boost the company's profits. In September, ZOOMLION inked a cooperation agreement with a local Indonesian company to set up a factory producing agricultural machinery, promising numerous job opportunities and a significant upliftment of the local industrial standard.
Furthermore, during its overseas expansion, ZOOMLION actively shoulders its social responsibilities. For instance, when Turkey experienced an earthquake in February, ZOOMLION swiftly organized a rescue team, being among the first Chinese equipment forces to reach the affected areas, earning praise from various Turkish entities. The principles of civilization, responsibility, and ethical considerations exhibited by ZOOMLION in the "The Belt and Road" initiative have been highly commended by the attendees.
