Zoomlion has once again achieved a major milestone in its overseas crane business with the successful delivery of the ZAT8000V all-terrain crane to a customer in Mexico. This 800-ton all-terrain crane not only sets a new record for Zoomlion in the North American market—marking the largest-tonnage crane ever sold by the company in the region—but also precisely meets the growing demands of Mexico’s energy infrastructure and industrial lifting sectors, injecting strong momentum into local industrial development with robust equipment capabilities.

Mexico is accelerating its energy transition, with a clear target of achieving 45% renewable energy generation by 2030. This has created an urgent need for large-tonnage, high-reliability lifting equipment in sectors such as wind power, large-scale power plants, and petrochemicals. The recently delivered ZAT8000V all-terrain crane is a flagship heavy-tonnage product developed by Zoomlion for the global high-end market. It features an advanced multi-axle electro-hydraulic control system, an intelligent safety monitoring platform, and a high-strength lightweight main boom. With excellent lifting performance and wide application adaptability, it is ideally suited for complex and demanding tasks such as large power plant construction, petrochemical equipment installation, and wind farm maintenance in Mexico, perfectly aligning with the country’s core needs for energy infrastructure and industrial upgrading, and providing reliable equipment support for the high-quality development of Mexico’s wind power and petrochemical industries.

During the delivery process, the project faced multiple challenges, including cross-time-zone communication and difficulties in local commissioning and adaptation. With a customer-centric approach, Zoomlion’s service team rose to the challenge and worked efficiently: they completed localized adaptation and optimization of the equipment in advance, taking into account Mexico’s local regulatory standards and operating practices; they followed the entire on-site installation and commissioning process, providing 24/7 support to resolve any emergent issues; and they delivered customized operational training and technical briefings to the customer’s team, ensuring the equipment could be deployed quickly after delivery. Due to the team’s professional rigor and highly effective collaboration, the delivery was completed with outstanding quality and received high recognition from the customer.
