Recently, dozens of Zoomlion ZT125G series mining dump trucks have been fully assembled and shipped across the ocean to Peru. These units will be deployed in an open-pit gold mine project in northern Peru, supporting efficient operations throughout the entire process, from overburden stripping to ore hauling. This delivery further consolidates Zoomlion’s benchmark position in the high-end mining truck market in Peru, marking another deep penetration of its products into a major gold-producing region in South America.

The project is located in the Andean mountains of northern Peru, a gold-rich zone characterized by high altitude, steep slopes, and complex road conditions. The mine faces demanding requirements including large gradients, heavy dust, and continuous high-load haulage, imposing stringent standards on power, climbing ability, durability, and fuel economy. Zoomlion’s products fully meet these challenges.
The delivered Zoomlion ZT125G series mining trucks are ideally suited for steep, heavy-duty applications in the Andean terrain. They come standard with a hydraulic retarder + full hydraulic braking system, a high-strength wear-resistant U-shaped dump body, and a fully welded box-section frame. The oil-pneumatic suspension structure balances load capacity with ride stability. A self-cleaning long-life air filter is adapted for dusty mining environments, while maintenance-free design significantly reduces service costs. The automatic transmission (AT) features optimized shift logic for mine starting and stopping, reducing operator fatigue and improving continuous operation efficiency. Compared with similar models, overall transport efficiency is increased by over 35%, with excellent fuel economy.

Leveraging its localized service strategy, Zoomlion—through its Peruvian subsidiary with a comprehensive spare parts warehouse, on-site maintenance teams, and full lifecycle after-sales support—provides end-to-end, all-in-one "carefree" services for this project. These services include pre-delivery inspections (PDI), truck transport, installation and commissioning, delivery training, and on-site operational support, earning high recognition and trust from the customer.
After years of deep cultivation in the Latin American market, Zoomlion mining equipment has been delivered in batches to major gold, silver, and copper mine projects in northern and central Peru. Relying on robust product performance and localized services, the company continues to gain recognition from leading local mining enterprises. Zoomlion will keep exploring mining demand in South America, empowering the development of green mines in Latin America through customized service solutions.
